Echo has made some moves lately..

But I’d bet $100 they don’t do what’s necessary to take market share away from stihl..

Nobody does..

Short sighted they are..

Very long life , I know 2 that over 25 years old and are used hard, had to rebuild carb on it for her, and new fuel lines , the damn thing started on 1st pull , she has worn out several of the solid heads out on it ,

A good local Stihl dealer in Topeka started carrying Echo after remodeling their store. I think they did it fully for the trimmers since the saws got some dust on them.

They don’t grasp that the saws must perform as good or better than the competitors..

It’s an all or nothing proposition as far as market share is concerned...

It's all in advertising. Especially on television.
I can't say when I ever saw a tv ad for Husqvarna or Echo.
I usually see at least 1 or 2 Stihl ads a week and everybody's drinking their kool aid.

It’s hot here too, cleaning out grain bins this time of year sucks.

I was at the local NAPA the other day & the owner was talking to a fella that wanted a job but didn’t want to start until around 11:00 am because he didn’t do well in the mornings…

The local machine shop is always looking for help, the truck repair shop is needing help but the help he gets is usually pretty sketchy at best.
