I've been kind of looking around for a recoil pad.

Something the size of my bedroom pillow.
:)
Once you start installing a new pad, find the right length to trigger. Holding the rifle with hand on grip finger on trigger (bolt open) the correct length will place the end of the stock against the bicep with elbow @ 90 degrees. At least that is shotgun sizing
Happy birthday young man! 5:02 is the end ofmy # 69

Thanks everybody.
Today I've been upgraded to version 6.4.
Today has been a good day. I made Goldie's Christmas present. She wanted an 8 foot foldable sewing table, so I built one. When it was all done and folded up the thing weighed more than her and I could lift together. It quickly got turned into two 4x4 tables with foldable legs instead.

Last ms170 had a bad air leak , found it ,,, the pan bolts were loose and air leak was as bad as I've seen , dissembled saw, cleaned it and reworked pan , leak fixed, let sealant cure overnight and try saw tomorrow.

What 12 inch bar and chain you all suggest? I want a thin one for limbing

Neither.
I told the family I didn't want them spending money on my BD. I just wanted time with my kids. We communicate a lot through messenger
and Facebook, text, all sorts of ways to stay in touch. Even a phone call. But it's not the same since they're all out of the house or out of state.
They all have lives now of their own and I understand that but it's nice just spending time with them. That's all the BD present I want.
:)

Some of the proceeds from the excavator..

Not sayin it makes cutting hedge any more pleasant, but the skid steer helped a little..

Hey Kyle, what’s the most reliable skid steer you ever had any dealings with?
Done fixing that Takeuchi yet?

Takeuchi tl140-150 or gehl ctl70-80. Same machines. Very tough and reliable. And with a pump adjustment and hyd adjustment will do way more than they should but they will take it in stride. Our old ctl70 was turned up and would pick near 8k without issues.

I tried to get away with tires. And even with over the tire steel tracks couldn’t get done what I needed. So yes for me there is no replacement for the tracks. They also make steel tracks that replace the rubber tracks if your gonna be off road all the time. They use them on the machines with mulchers all the time.
