I don’t need those Carl but I have some air filters & pre-filters I am looking to give away
if anyone wants them.

Qty 2 Pre-filters for a Stihl 440

Qty 2 air filters for a Stihl 260, there is a bit of grease from my hands but otherwise unused

A mystery filter for a Dolmar, definitely not for a 5105.

More than willing to pay shipping on the MS260 filters. Just send me a pm.

Haven't posted much lately. I had Covid. My symptoms were mild, fever for 12 straight days, and a dry cough, which is still lingering. Been fever free the last couple of days so I am cleared to live again.

morning everyone. new to the forum. found the midlander section. i'm in springfield mo.

always wanted a stihl chainsaw after dealing with a crappy poulan/craftsman that never had any power.

thanks to this forum i've got a MMWS 261C on order. already have a 18" sugi bar on standby for it.

I was thinking of cutting some wood, if I was hiding in the timber it wouldn’t be bad but all of my stuff is out in the open. I don’t mind cold temps but the wind is non-starter for me. This temperature swing may make my sinuses start to revolt again

Well..

It should at least run better than your poulan..

Even if it's the wrong color..

What's your color of choice? seems like all saws are a personal pref like the ford and chevy guys with trucks. I went with stihl since my FIL has had good luck with his Stihls. My FIL is a ford guy but I can't fault him for that. haha.

I grew up cutting with my dad (not professionally- just for heat) and he used mcculloch chainsaws. his saws always ran good.

Most of us don't have a color preference.
And then, there are others that definatly do. :)
I currently have a 3 saw plan.
Dolmar PS 510 (80% of the work)
Echo CS 670 (for bigger stuff)
Husqvarna 390 XP. (For the really big stuff)
