Just picked this up to give the new place a haircut. Runs nice, hydraulics front and back, hydraulic deck, hydrostat trans. Pretty pleased.
:)
Be careful IF it still has the original Kohler K17 in it. I had a 317 years ago that was a terrible buy, due to a lack of research and preparedness on my part. It was a mess. There are some Honda and Kawasaki re-power options that aren't bad though.

Well, in the time I've been gone, been working two weeks on, two weeks off. Got about three more cords of Hedge in, did some tractor work around the yard, finished the driveway re-gravel, helped a buddy make a Hotwheels collection display room in his house, and various other things. I've also got people coming out tomorrow to hopefully buy my '93 Honda St1100, and my '49 8N. A buddy made me a deal on that little Kubota B8200 that I couldn't turn down, and another friend made me a similar deal on His 2008 Triumph Rocket III touring. Now, I just need to get my little diesel Beetle sold, and I'll be sitting pretty good. I'll be buying a 3pt rake and tiller in a year or so, as that will greatly help out with cleanup and gardening. Got the garden in, narrowly avoided the late freeze(es), and got all of the additional spring equipment servicing done, including re-welding and reinforcing a broken exhaust bracket on my Grasshopper diesel. It's bizarre how this covid B-S has been a blessing for some of us, and truly terrible for others, and that's the ones who aren't ill. We've been blessed, and it's been nice to actually spend time with the kids.

I do a lot of talking around, investigating, and researching when I'm interested in doing something or getting something. It's a fault of mine. I'm a Ford guy through and through. I've looked at all the diesels they've had through the years and, I'll agree, the 7.3 powerstroke diesel is by far the best they made. Possibly with the exception of the newest 6.7. But they are horribly expensive when it comes to parts that WILL eventually wear out.
A 7.3 IDI injector runs about $50, give or take. The PS 7.3 injector runs about $400. And there's 8 of them. I just can't do repairs like that.

Yes your right. They break less often generally but when they do it’s expensive. I’m still elbow deep in the 4010 deere engine and the more I see jd green paint the more I see dollar bills. This thing is more expensive that working on my old cat equipment I think. Took 3 weeks to finally get a mix match set of main bearings in good enough shape to install. Didn’t matter dealer or aftermarket. I tried both.

Good morning!
11 metal boxes with Peugeot tools. Let me know if anyone wants anything before they're added to the scrap pile. The boxes have partitions spot welded in them so removing the partitions and making them into just a box would take some work.

Somebody somewhere would probably pay a good price to get ahold of those!
But how to find such a guy....

Got any old Euro car repair shops around you? I know Topeka has one and we is small and uncultured up here.

Might find a buyer here mayhaps.

I'm heading up this morning to look at a Case 310B with a loader and canopy on it.
Been looking for a medium size loader tractor.
I'm hoping to buy this one.
Already have a friend scheduled to haul it home this afternoon if I buy it.

That’s a good looking machine. I really like my case equipment. Been good cheap and easy to work on.

Vet starts but won’t stay running. Filled the float bowel with mix from my ketchup bottle. Fired up and then died when it ran out.

Float in the Q-jet is stuck shut like before.

I didn’t want it sucking the rancid gas from the tank anyway.[emoji6]

I need some kind of pump to suck the old fuel from the tank and into a container for disposal.

Steve L. can likely tell you how much trouble it is to swap battery on an AC equipped ‘67. [emoji37]

That starts by removing LF wheel.

I kid you not!

I’m not about to put a spread bore holly back on it. I’ve seen too many burn to the ground because of leaky float bowels. [emoji34]
