They got the bile duct unblocked and put a stent in to keep it open but the surgeon can’t do the gallbladder operation today. They are going to coordinate with the other surgeon that has to remove the stent and hopefully do it outpatient next week. Should be getting released today to head home. Just has to avoid fatty greasy fried food until after the surgery. Thanks for the prayers!

At Christmas we found out my oldest son and his wife are expecting.
Today I found out I'm going to have my first Grandson.

I told my kids that they weren’t aloud to let their kids spend time with Grandma unsupervised because if the grandkids start calling me A-hole I will be offended.

My logging/fence post/firewood handy work is not quite as nice looking as @Cat 525 ’s but it’s getting done. Hopefully I will fall out of bed around 4 tomorrow morning, get the rest of the brush cleaned up, drag out what’s down & get the last 3 trees felled. Folks will be home from Florida tomorrow afternoon. Hoping to have everything felled, limbed & brush pushed up by that time. Then Dad can help me measure & mark the posts he wants. The rest is firewood.

It’s pretty slimy. The next 2 days will make it a real loblolly, supposed to be in the upper 40’s - low 50’s then rain & snow starting Sunday evening. Supposed to be mid 20’s tonight so hoping to finish up in the morning while it’s still crunchy or at least not soup on top.

Son's new toy.
I was ready to plug it in.
He was sat down reading the manual, cleaning it, lubricating all the points that take lube, all the smart things first. Then he ran it through some trial runs.
He's proud of it and I'm proud of him.
