Morning, Kenneth.Morn ing John.
Morning, Kenneth.Morn ing John.
I'm leaning more toward the duramax as I consider getting a truck later this year. I'm not a fan of particulate exhaust (urea, does that mean I can pee in it?), or the cold-blooded growling motors, or the expensive maintenance (what would I do with four gallons of dirty oil?), but the toughness, the towing, and durability make it sound like it might be part of the plan. PTO sounds pretty cool, maybe I could make a crude lathe for spinning porch posts or something...The only other thing that I could think of is a Duramax with PTO option has variable engine speed in 100 RPM increments up to 2100 RPM controlled through the cruise control switches. You can also hold the throttle to where you want it and hit the "SET" button to hold that RPM.
