Does anyone in here have direct experience with the JD CS56? There's one for sale local that looks brand new, that I'm thinking about having a look at. It's an EFCO saw from what I understand.
Great saw. I've got a 52cc Cub Cadet and a 62cc Olympyk that are Efco design. Strong runners.

Well, the splitter made short work of a bunch of large and knotty oak logs I brought home. The curved logs with forks in them came out looking pretty interesting. The force of the machine slicing through them was impressive. Hard to imagine how I got along all these years without it. I'll take and post a picture when I get the last few done tomorrow. My wooden wedges took out most of the clanking and clatter, but not all. Maybe some heavy bolts and brass shims to tighten things up where there are removable pins now. A work in process.

Watching Dr Pol on tv.
Cow giving birth with help from the good Dr. Everything's fine. Cow's licking the calf dry.
I looked over at my wife and asked, "Did you have the urge to lick the kids dry when they were born?
Just about got slapped out of my chair.
That's another question not to ask again.

My old truck hasn't been started since before the real cold weather,so I started it today .It started ok backed out of carport and it started sinking in the mud.Rocking it back and forth trying to get 4x4 to engage .I made some really nice ruts in the yard.My wife wasn't very happy. Not the first ruts I ever made in the yard.

Good morning.
Found a new way to give new life to milled-out starter cups by using aluminum brazing rod.

Good morning!

Looking forward to a productive but relaxing Sunday. Cleaning up the back yard is a priority today, and we're going to meet a little buddy of Emerson's at the local pet emporium, where they can feed tortoises and hold snakes and such. Time to stop typing, says the primate sitting in my lap.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Well last night went south quick. Got a call from mom to help get dad up off floor his backs out and in the same sentence says my brother rolled his truck on the way there to help b4 they called me. I leave to go and slid off road into barbed wire fence with my truck. Dad is OK. Brother is OK. His truck is totaled. Rough night last night for sure. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Glad everyone is ok. That's a lot of bad luck in one night.
