I have had it since August and have had no problems with it. Dropped it on asphalt first day out. I needed something that could handle being out in all types of weather and my being clumsy. It is a cat s60 contractor grade and cost about $600. I use it for work and farm so I will put it toward my taxes this year. You can buy direct from catphones or amazon. Uses sim card so ATT, t-mobile and straight talk. Didn't need flir but it came with the phone and so far i have used it a few times. They have dual sim cards to use as home/business for different numbers to same phone.
Sweet! Good to know. I went and looked this afternoon and I'm between the note 8 and that cat s60 but it has mixed reviews online. And I'm not really liking the new Samsungs not having buttons on them. I'm told best buy has them so I'm gonna go look at them and see what they look like. And I'll use this for business purposes as well.

I felt the same way about the lack of button vs my S3. Have long forgot about it now.

ooooohhh, pseudo night vision to look for foxes around the chicken coop at night. Or deer out in the field at night.
I use it at times when I let the dog out and he tries to go a little far out in the dark. LOL. Used it at parents to find air leaks in house. I kinda wondered about having it with me deer hunting because of the regulations. "You may not possess night vision or thermal imagery equipment while carrying a firearm, bow, or other implement used to take wildlife." Blurs the line a bit because of having phone for safety to contact someone.

If the FLIR is not needed the newest S41 will allow charging other devices from it. I also like the wet touch/glove touch with the phones. I fat finger it a bit but can do what i need to without taking off my gloves.

Good morning!

Looking forward to the thaw. I got my wood pile stacked yesterday, and will try to clean up my messy yard some today. Also plan to get a few oak logs from a friend of mine; other people took the smaller, easier to handle ones, and he said I could have the big ones. Glad to have a splitter!

Enjoy the day!

I-phone
Mac mini
Mac book laptop

Been a mac guy since they came out in about 1988...

My iMac dates from 2009, stihl functions flawlessly. MacBook Pro from 2011, just put a solid state drive in it the other day, speeded it way up for $150. I plan to get a few more years out of it. iPhone, on my third one since they came out about what, ten years ago? My wife and stepdaughter have had multiple malfunctions with their non-iPhones, but not I. My stepdaughter's HP laptop we got her three years ago shot craps as soon as it went 0ff warranty. My second iPhone lasted six years, until I went swimming with it when we were visiting my sister in California a couple years ago. That was inconvenient.

Stihl, Apple, Subaru, Tikka, Smith & Wesson.

I've never had a mac either. Heard good things though. Been using this Dell all-in-one for 7 years and it's still going strong. Only thing I've had to do to it was buy external speakers after I blew the built-ins playing music too loud.

None of my software will run on Mac's, so I just run PC's. I used Dell Latitudes for several years, but they were too expensive when I started needing more power and a bigger screen. That is when I switched to Toshiba. I found that I can get a lot more bang for my buck with them. They are not built near as well, but with a little bit of care I can get several years out of one, even with transporting it around every day.

I was a big fan of my iPhone 4, but then when Apple downgraded the processor speed, as well as the cellular service as a part of their software updates, it was going to far. I went to the Apple store with my phone that had so poor service that it was no longer useable, and they acknowledged that their updates did in fact downgrade my phone, but they refused to provide a service to roll back my software. That is when I told them I would not be buying another apple product.
I have been really happy with my Note 4. 4 years or so, and going strong.

It was real nice here too, but the warmth just created a small layer of mud over top the rest of the frozen ground and made for a giant slip and slide. I went sliding through my back year in the truck and decided to just park it.

Does anyone in here have direct experience with the JD CS56? There's one for sale local that looks brand new, that I'm thinking about having a look at. It's an EFCO saw from what I understand.

Buddy has one that I did a muff mod on
He loves it
Seems like a good saw if you can get it right.
