I hear Dolmars are great saws. I ran one once, and it definitely outcut any comparable saw of mine. The red saws are good, and so are the orange Swedish ones. It's stihl fun to have a laugh or three about it, a lot like the Ford and Chevy truck people.

Germany's national anthem is "Deutschland Über Alles," so it only seems appropriate.

My first "real" chainsaw was a 026 Pro. It was awesome. When some ------- stole it, I bought another Stihl. I've just stuck with them because they're what I know. I can look at any model and know exactly what its worth and most of its strengths and weaknesses. I owned a Makita 6401 for a while, I just had to try a Dolmar. It outcut my 036 Pro but it was less powerful and just as heavy as my 440 and 441. Great saw but it didn't make sense to keep it so I sold it. If I,buy another new saw, it'll be a Dolmar 79cc or a Husqvarna pro saw. Just because. Shindaiwa makes an excellent product as well. I had a Redmax GZ4000 it Craftsman colors and it was awesome. I already new that Zenoah was awesome because of my experience using them on rc planes. I'm not leaving Echo out Cobey, maybe the best bang for the buck in the industry.

I had a great day cutting wood. Good evening y'all

I agree, probably 066 since no flippy caps. The filter cover on my recently acquired 660 looks like the saw pictured, except with flippy caps. My 440 filter cover doesn't have that extra bulge.

The 660 cake cutter has screw caps, being a 2010 vintage. There is now a solution available, it fits all the flippys but the MS200 oil cap, the one I have the most trouble with.

My first real saw was an 026. I'd had a used John Deere Echo, and a couple of cheap Homelites, with predictable results, so when I got a saw that actually worked when I wanted it to, I decided that was the brand for me. My 18 year old Lawn Boy still starts right up, though I have to store it at an angle because hte plastic carb leaks. Even after the rebuild kit. Oh well. I'd like to keep it going as long as it is legal for me to. One gas for all, except now that the splitter is coming, I'll have to dedicate one can for it and the power washer.

There was an echo/husqy/toro dealer here that put Opti-2 (2-stroke mix) in everything when it went out the door. 2-strokes, 4-strokes, it didn't matter. I believe the Opti-2 mixes at about 70:1.

See most you folks are getting ready for another cold spell coming. Hell...it's 65 now in mid-Ga, gonna top out at 70 today. But this time last week, lows were in the teens and twenties, highs in the 30'/40's. Crazy damn weather!
