Sharp eye, that’s an old take-off from either a D4 or D5.

They do make 1/2 to 3/4'' adapters ......

But that's damned good improvisin.

I dug into my truck yesterday to swap out my "broken" fuel gauge, a few hours of investigation later I found the real culprit. I'm guessing when the p.o. swapped tanks there was a snafu when he swapped the sending units. This morning I got to take it out for a test run and it preformed flawlessly (for my standards).

Solid roller, 256/260° at .050 .615 lift it’s a isky, billet with a cast distributor gear

It's a optical illusion. I had plenty of toung weight.

Lots of history with the truck. Was previously named Denny after the good friend and Vietnam vet that gifted it to me. It now has the nickname bad blood........ (Nothing pertaining to Denny that man is a saint)

I am resurrecting a 98 GMC Suburban for road trip vehicle.
Pulled the interior out and took advantage of a warm sunny day and pressure washed the carpet.
Doing a complete brake job then can address the running issues.
Nice rust free body,doors all close nice.Leather seats and all the goodies.
