Don't know, I just burn whats easily available. Never looked at one of those charts.

Yes. I have been told it’s exactly the same. By the dry pound it’s very close

Cherry is like soft maple, burns quick and doesn’t put out a lot of heat. It smells and looks good though. I have 4 sticks in my wood evaporator that is just a display setup now after installing my stove. Cherry makes great smoke on ribs.

That sounds odd to me. The wild cherry trees around here are heavy and very similar to apple Who knows could be a local thing. I can agree they damn sure do make a good smoker wood

Quick load after work tonight. Took me and the kid about 2 hrs to cut and load. Only about 2 miles from the house.

Dropped a maple last week, would have been nice to have had a 90cc saw for it. What happened with getting the longer bar for the 365xt. The 36" didn't make it across, but the ported 7900 did a fine job pulling it, especially where it was hollow lol.

If you look close you can see the 372(wearing a 24")that was as far as I was able to cut from one side with it.

All the firewood went to a neighbor across the rd along with all the debris, which worked out well for both of us.

The boy helped out, which was nice, he's a hard worker.

Snapped a picture of the pile at my neighbors of the Maple.

Took down most of a willow on the same property the Maple was on this morning. All that wood will be tossed on the bonfire pit, that's firewood right lol.

I had a good referral for log splitting, got it when I was busy, made the mistake of not jumping on the job and the customer had a couple log splitters but didn't have the time. 3 weeks later was too late.

I had cut up a tree that was blocking a hunting trail after work today . The top of the tree was broke off three years ago . I blocked it up in 26" lengths for a boiler with my xs 572xpg .
