True, but I think drf255 has the same goal as I do, try and get this saw to turn up. 1 ring is less friction and worth a few hundred rpm.

Without, still 4 stroking good. Didn't adjust the needles. Just wanted to see how much it changed.

I'd still lean twards grinding the venturi and try that. Then pull a test hit with the filter cover and filter off

Yes, I was debating on leaving the bottom ring out when assembling mine.

I have a few different coming carbs to retrofit. Plan on boring them out.

But my single ring 360t has many hours and gallons on it and it runs 1 ring and still pulls hard.
