Widen the intake down to 76 ish. Raised it back up to stock.

Transfers set at 125 lots of fiddling in the tunnels to get the transition I was looking for.

Ex at 106
Beveled everything up good and stuck it on.

Added another muffler outlet.

Capped it off with one of my medium deflectors :)

Letting my goop dry.
Any guessing as to what the comp will be?

Stock
Ported stock chain.
Ported .325 stihl rs
Ported 346 pushing 240 psi same stihl rs chain.

346 set at 14,200 echo set at 12,300.

13k max the echo hits a wall. Can't even get 13,050 lol.

If someone on a pc could go through the vids and time them, I would appreciate it. I only have my phone...

I'm just on my phone too but it looked like 14ish for the Echos first cut with the rs chain and 15-16ish for the 346s first cut with the rs chain.

Remember this saw will get stronger. It took at least 5-6 hard run tanks for it to start waking up.

Yeh, it will be interesting for sure. 346 only s 6-8 tanks on it. But it felt heavier than the echo, both sporting 18".

Hopefully I can get a bigger carb to work...

I only seen about 1 second difference between the 2 saws so yeah the echo hangs with the husky pretty good

Looks great Red.

What were your final numbers?

Another comp reading after the run?

I'm slacking. Between work and Easter, not sure I'll be done for another week or two.

The uppers are pretty easy to work over if you take out the transfer caps. Pretty much the tunnel is built into them. Very easy to manipulate! Good build guys. Your gonna really like these saws. I'll be sad to see mine go. :)

I wanted the practice, plus I got some nice 3" long 1/8 burrs that worked well.

My echo testing is done for about a week, have to go back to work...

But when I get home, going to test .325 x8 and 3/8x7 think 3/8x16 may be the fastest on my saw it has serious pull.

It is about a 1lb heavier iirc.

When I grabbed it off the shelf I had to double check it wasn't the 371 lol forgot I sold that one.
