Adds character...

You cut your chamber on the lathe? On any angle? I really ought to try using the lathe to cut squish at least once.

Should wake up a bit. Nice job sir.

Don't know if it is easier or not, but I haven't even bother tacking the transfer covers off yet...

What ever they are made of is really soft, cuts quick.
On an angle, just like you did. The 44mm bore made it easy for me, I have my 026 tooling.

This saw has a big crankcase. I can see it needing higher than normal uppers and more case compression.

Does anyone know if they make a Picco sprocket for this saw?

Is there anyone who knows if a 590 carb and boot will fit? I may have to take a ride to Home Depot today with my calipers and camera.

It is a std oregon small spline. Most will run picco on a 3/8x7 rim. It dosent mmesh in the sprocket 100% but works well.

As for the 590 carb, it bolts on, but the adjustment needles are on the wrong side. And throttle/choke linkages are way off.

If it would run backwards (choke towards the engine) it could be made to fit real nice.

The 590 boot is definitely a no go. It is round and convoluted on the carb end, and a wide rectangle bolt on the jug end.

To make it eat a ported 346, chew it up, and spit it out...

Sounds like my goal too.

Well, I happen to have one to compare against. :)

I do know it we can't find a way to get this echo to turn up a bit, it is going to be very hard to catch the 346.

Any stihl carbs similer? Didn't have much luck with my 50cc husqvarna carbs swapping.

I have a 14" Picco on an echo 330T. A few new chains too.

Pretty sure its a spur sprocket, but I do have a small stihl Picco rim sprocket.

Thinking this saw would be quick as anything with a 14.

Right now I'm trying to figure out why my lady's car is being a pita....
I put it off as long as I could today, so under the hood I go.
Pita is that a new North Korean car company? Just bustin your balls a bit. At least you got to work on chainsaws this weekend. I spent the weekend patching drywall and painting.
