Are you under a different distributor?Weird. Interested to know dealer cost then.
YesAre you under a different distributor?
What do you mean by this? If I have a part on back order, I have the ability to call my distributor and they will check other distributors inventory, and if another distributor has it, then the part will drop ship directly from them. And if I met my shipping qualifications it will come free freight.Distributers do not exchange stock, they are in competition with each other.

Never had any problems like that when I was with a dealer. I could get parts from anywhere in the country. This is what i was told by the guys at our distributer when we looked for some parts that were out of stock here.
Said another dist had what i wanted and it wasnt even nla there but they wouldnt ( i read that as couldnt) send them to bryan

prices are based on tech level. dealer i look up part through only have bronzes. 75.95 is price for dealer with gold tech. at least that is what a local gold tech told me.
Does stihl make a 3/8-8 tooth small rim sprocket for a 260?
Is Bryant a dealer or distributor? Whoever they are, I know they're large because they were very present at the stihl timber sports show i went to in Chicago last year. I always assumed in order to deal with a distributor you had to be a dealer. Maybe not in Ohio? Distributors won't automatically release backorders from other distributors unless I call and ask em too. I assume that's how it is for other dealers.
Not totally, you can have a gold tech and not be elite. But you can't be elite without a gold tech.
yea I remember reading that those covers were going to become nla last year sometime maybe? or the year before? I don't remember, but I bought myself one that stocked one at the shop...they still are not nla as of today. that's odd they were for your dealer. unless they looked up the wrong one? 1128 145 0805 is also a dual port cover that will show not available to usa dealers.Bryan is a Distributor. I am NOT a dealer, I work through a dealer. I will never be as cheap as a dealer, even if I could be in some few cases.
I encourage customers to work with any actual dealer who doesn't suck and will recommend one when i can. Unfortunately this isn't an option for everyone.
Here locally the dual port muffler cover for the 044/046/MS440/MS460 is NLA for more than a year. I found one on the shelf of a dealer while I was out in California and when they looked it up for me they could still order them, not NLA for them, though the list price was about $6 more than i paid the last time i was able to buy one locally.
