If the OP was looking for best in class probably so, however, here is the question that was asked...
"What current 60cc class saw is the one to get? I have not paid any attention to saws for several years and not sure what is even out now. Would be interested in light weight and reliability/durability."
My post stands.
But the title is "Which saw is best".

Seems to me every feller has weighed in on the best 60cc saw based on personal experience with a given saw and has done their best to give the OP advice based on that. In short they suggested the “best” 60cc saw for them. You on the other hand went straight to the master-debatering with other members.

See post #13.

Thanks not looking to purchase anything now just getting caught up on what saws are out there and what folks think of them.

Again not the best in any way.

Again I’ll state you started arguing at post 11 and 12. Nobody else was arguing just trying to help the op out.

Do you really want to keep being a cųnt and arguing? This isn’t a place where people want to have to deal with an argumentative troll. I have a remedy for that behavior. Straighten up or hit the road. Your choice.

Making a statement isn't an argument.

Sht, may as well talk about the lowly homeowner 54-60 cc saws too. I've owned an ms 290, ms 310, ms 311, 455 rancheroni, and 590 timberwolf.

My favorite of the bunch is most certainly the timberwolf. 13lbs 5oz dry PHO. So 3/4 lb lighter than my 620pw.

Can bury a 24" bar in a 4ft stump, she just chugs along.

Paid $440 for the saw/w20" bar at home depot last year. Did a base gasket delete, walbro fuel nozzle, opened up muffler, advanced the ignition. She tunes up right at 13,100 rpms out of the cut.

I bought the echo clutch-side spikes, rebeard bar adapter for stihl bars, versacut 24" bar/exl chain.

One year later, she's still rocking 170 lbs of compression.

Then at the very bottom of the barrel, a fresh rebuild on a lowly echo 6700 slapped the 590 silly, at half the price. 67 cc's of underdog goodness:

I mentioned that I would pick an Echo 590 or 620 over those rancher type saws.
That's one big stump for your area

The thing that sucks about the Internet is one can't tell if you are intentionally obtuse, accidentally so, or just completely un-aware of yourself. Regardless, you're about as poor as they come at it lol!
This is a cut and dried situation. You can get your panties in a wad or not. Your choice

I leave the timberwolf in the truck as a loaner for helpers or that spur of the moment, unplanned tree job. It could get stolen out the toolbox and I won't be out much.

Last spring I did the 8 hour drive south for halibut/rockfish/cod fishing charter. After paying the charter and leaving a tip, I felt it was too expensive.

On the return trip, it turned into a "working vacation". Out came the Timberwolf! Pulled into Kenai Lake area to do a quick spruce beetle-kill thinning. The whole area is devastated by beetle kill. We don't get that beetle kill sht up here, too cold.

Once word spread, other kenai lake residents wanted help. A cutter could make money there for years, fk the fish!

There's always a choice. Just like you can choose to address what I said. If I made a habit of letting Internet 'tards light me off I'd have been gone a long time ago.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Sounds like the stihl ms400 is hard to beat with the lightest weight and most power, if cost is no concern.
Are the stihl ms400's holding up well to heavy use????
How is the new version husky 562xp mark 2 holding up and doing in hot weather use????

You really don’t get it do you? Do you think the others in this thread just decided it would be a good time to hate on you? I know your history but many in here don’t. You’re not being called a troll because it’s a problem everyone else in this forum has. You’re getting picked on because it’s a you problem.

see ya later bub. You no longer have privileges in this thread. Keep after it and I’ll swing the hammer on all your accounts. Your choice.
