I was just changing the coil on a customers Stihl MS250 and noticed the cylinder is clearly stamped with the Stihl logo, the word "Stihl" with the copyright logo after it, and 1122. Why would an MS250 cylinder be stamped 1122?? I thought that was to identify 066/660 and 064 saws and parts.

Might not be associated with the part number. Might be another significance, possibly location it was cast?

Not that I'm aware. Possibly a foundry stamping but I can't see Stihl letting a foundry code be on their parts that would interfere with their in house part numbers.
So I don't know.
AM or fake part?
