I've started trying to get everything I can out of a saw and it has become a obsession, once you port one and see how it runs then you think,I believe I can get more! But it never ends.

Good point! Before you you grind on a good cylinder try and find a old junk one or a cheap saw to get a feel for it. I screwed up a few good jugs, wish I had used a junk one for a test cuts...

What you got for a cam bearing too, is it a Lisle, I got one and use it quite often but one of the drivers is broke and can't buy it separately.... Go figure
