Antivibe on those saws sucks. And for the most part, they fetch at least $200 in my area. I picked up my used 346xp for $250.
I get basically 0 vibes outta my 55 like none at all??? I'd say they are excellent hella score on the 346 I have a 346 also I get no more vibe outta my 55 than I do the 346. Maybe you ran one that was a fluke or I have the only good one ever made I pick it up over my 346 most of the time Drop dead reliable smooth as butter I have ran one other 55 as well seemed just like mine ? To me it is strange you say the anti vibe sucks

Well, lets just say it's not close to the 3xx series Huskys. It's not miserable but definitely not as smooth. My boy has a 55 and I have an old 50, both have received new rubbers. And I'll 100% agree they are dead reliable saws ;).

Best in class? No way IMO. But opinions are like...

I have a soft spot for the older echo products they are the best because they just keep running and wont stop, Yeah they are old mag case obsolete rubber av that produce more noise and use more fuel some parts can be tough getting, And if i ever want another they can be had for little money because nobody wants them anymore.
Everybody wants a plastic saw these days that will cut fast but yet won't have the ass to pull a longer bar if needed to, Used this john deere 55sv/echo 550evl the other day it did a great job pulling a 24'' with full comp on it in red oak. So i will say the older echo 50-55 cc's are my favorite and best to me.

I agree with you 100%. Do not care for a 346, hate the scream, just me.

I was offered 2 550xp at $250 a piece with b+c's. Tree service use and buying new. Looked used a good bit but said ran great. Just not in the market for 50cc.

I passed as I was and could get new for $450 550 PHO and $375 545 PHO.

Just in case someone wants me to check into it. ;)

Been using this saw in place of 50cc lately. Weighs the same as 50cc but 60cc and pulls 20" 3/8.

Been using the 54cc with 16" 325. Same weight too.

Kevin,

I have one of those Craftsman 3.3's (same as a PP335?), along with my Super 380. Man, they're well built.

Some are some are not like the thick ring 335. Some are like the 3300.

Not a 335 thin ring either. It is the other 335 we showed in a thread on my site. It uses the 3450 thick ring piston. ;)

2nd thread has the # for the right 3.3.

My 365 is just like a 380. Carb intake tank. I just like the low profile covers so I put the 365 back on with 365 air filter set up.

Whats the purpose of a 50cc saw anyway? o_O

Don't a PS-7900 handle everything!?

.
.
.

I am eyeballing a Dolmar PS-5000, but I know I don't have the need for a 50cc saw at all.

Light limb saw that I can use for hours on end, a lot of times above shoulder height, and not get fatigued. I cut a fair amount of trees from old apple orchards. A well ported 346 is the bee's knee's.

Limb 20 of these with an 80cc, I wanna watch ;)
