I am eyeballing a Dolmar PS-5000, but I know I don't have the need for a 50cc saw at all.

I sold this one not so long ago for a customer who bought a new 6100

Yep they are pretty snotty I have an oe I guess you'd call it. Ported up a bit the high rpms on those really make them more than what they should be Mean lil devils

I have a standard carb stihl 261 a echo 490 028 super husky 350 and for me i like running a freebie 1990 dolmar 115 more than any of my other saws it's got enough torque that i don't have to rev the guts out of it all the time.

Wow, she is much prettier than the one I keep looking at.

That's my point, I have 2 40cc's, a 64cc and a 79cc.
My PS-6400 is my main go to saw, my PS-7900 is my play & fun saw, but my 40cc's barely ever see any work although they'll cut quite well anything up to 14" diameter.

I usually limb with my PS-6400, but my PS-7900 works just as well.

I have a soft spot for the older echo products they are the best because they just keep running and wont stop, Yeah they are old mag case obsolete rubber av that produce more noise and use more fuel some parts can be tough getting, And if i ever want another they can be had for little money because nobody wants them anymore.
Everybody wants a plastic saw these days that will cut fast but yet won't have the ass to pull a longer bar if needed to, Used this john deere 55sv/echo 550evl the other day it did a great job pulling a 24'' with full comp on it in red oak. So i will say the older echo 50-55 cc's are my favorite and best to me.
