Anyone else NEVER purchase a new saw?

I for one have NEVER bought a new chainsaw. I figure I am in the minority, but has anyone else NOT purchased a new saw?

Yep never here ether. I have a lot of hand me downs and saws I have built. Never laid down the cash to buy a new one. I have some I spend as much as new to rebuild but never a new one.

I bought used and have purchased new. However, there have been used saws that required so much that I should have just bought it new from the start. I guess those are learning opportunities.

The dealer on my site said about 19 665 left now. $650 was retail PHO price but could be bought for $100 cheaper.
Last 9 before this deal by other seller was $508 PHO

8 bills generally plus tax.

I think the 372 is $700 or so and the 365 is $100 cheaper. Same cc. I've bought 4 new ones out of 75 or so I guess.

Dealer prices out west are insanely high. Higher than MSRP at my local dealer, and he won't budge on the price.

where does one 'buy' these "new" saws....mine usually come from behind the "parts store" they have a big blue "box" in the back where they keep my "new" saws ...
sometimes they mix up some stinky stuff in the box with them.
