I wouldn't mind giving a new 550XP a good home, though... :Saeufer:

I have one saw that my wife bought new for me in '98. A ground up rebuild makes the others good as new. New husky parts prices will make them cheaper to keep up as well. Should probably stock up before the bubble bursts.

I have a saw that I went to the hardware store with my dad to get. We got some input from the dealer and bought an 026 and paid a bit more for an 18" .325 bar for it. Took it home and finished cutting up a tree my little Skil chainsaw couldn't handle and it's still running fine and is part of my line up after 25 years. So I technically didn't buy it but have been the primary possessor of it its whole life. The other 100 and something saws I purchased were all used.

I have never bought a new chainsaw. I normally just wait for the broken ones to find me...
