Anyone else break there saws in with a rich oil mix

For me if it's a new saw with a warranty I start it on 40:1 check tune let it warm up and run it with heavy load on short cuts. For 1/2 tank or so. Then check tune and look for anything out of normal. Rebuilds get started on 32:1 if ported or 40:1 if stock let warm up a good heat cycle then check base bolts and other screws. Put in wood heavy load for short cuts for first tank then run the hell outta them wfo in wood. I'm not a piss revver.

Heres how i broke in my last 461 , i started it and ran it balls out for a few tanks with minimal idle time and only shut off for a go go juice break..look how awesome that 362 looks on that log..
Ill make it easy Ryan since that 362 see-m is so awesome!!! Lol!! Mail it to me !!! I want a 562 though

I mix the same as normal, 50:1. I let it idle for a while and then start making cuts, starting light and then going to some bigger stuff. It hasn't done me wrong yet.
I tune for some burble and call it good.

well my way never killed a saw iding or not.your not suppose to run wide open the first 10 hrs of use either.

Spose jonnyjoejumpup buys a new big cc kickass saw wiff his tax refund. Only ran a wildthing once be4, so he fires up dis hotrod wiffout any knowledge of what he is a doing. No feel for what he is in fer,,
Then all of a sudden he notices his leg is 3 feet away from him not attached to his body anymore.!

5 tanks to properly seat rings and break in a saw.
I run fat n take it easy the first 2 tanks, then WFO!
Also I use conventional oil for first 5 tanks, full syn prevents wear.

Red armor 32/1 first tank then 40/1 i heat cycle for about ten minutes been doing this since i started building engines in the 80s
