ever had a diesel chainsaw on the dyno?
Nope lol

I think it will make chips fly.Nice gains! That s/b a real nice performer!
What bore? Looks stronger than the stock bore Tree Monkey 064 I had. Here is the graph for an 064 I recently acquired from Shaun: View attachment 360930

Why did posts to this thread stop???
Depends on who ported the 395 and what the goals were for the build. Shaun has videos posted of this 064 along with several other 90cc saws. Probably can’t draw conclusions from it due to varying log size and chain condition, etc, but the 064 cut at around 41 seconds his 394 at 37 and a 395 at 38 & change.I wonder how it would stack up against a ported 395? What's a Shaun 395 look like on a dyno?
I won’t believe those numbers. But u can see the gains and the change in the curves. Here is the graph for an 064 I recently acquired from Shaun: View attachment 360930
No? Care to explain why not?I won’t believe those numbers. But u can see the gains and the change in the curves.
I would trust Joe’s rig to as reliable as what the OEM uses. I think it is hard for some people to believe how much gains can be had. Also, as has been said many times before, peak HP while cool to look at, isn’t as important imo as the area under the torque curve.I think what is meant is that every dyno is going to produce individual results based on who built it. So theoretically the numbers are subjective to that machine but not universal.
Joe's should be close to factory correct though.
