Hmmm. Might be time for a mmws 261cm re-run...
And maybe an xs 261cm and xs 346 run...
XS 261’s are nothing fancy. I haven’t done enough of them to have them figured out. But I’ve never put one directly up against a 550 or 346 to see where they actually stand

As long as they stand and don’t fall over that’s all that really matters. Lol

My echo 501 is probably my most used saw. It's taken repeated abuse for the last 3 years doing tree work. I'm never afraid to put it in the hands of an inexperienced ground worker. That 4910 has to be the best bang for the doll hair in the 50cc saw class.

Nah I'm just a quality tool guy or dumb forum guy. If anything I probably have more dolmar/makita saws, but true I've never minded talkin up the Echo's. ;)
I'll put a fast bar and chain on my Harkness Hybrid and play Fvck around and find out with anyone that thinks they have a stout 70cc rig. It isn't that it spins fast, it just maintains excellent speed.

I also am a huge fan of dolkitas, very well put together
I looked today and I have about an equal number of Stihl, Echo, and Dolkita saws in the shop. Have had plenty of Huskies as well. It's hard to not recommend the Echos as the quality is on par with the big two but the cost is usually a fair bit less.
