Was his broken in yet. How many tanks run through it?
Hard to say, another old system vs new.
Each engine is different from the factor. Maybe this one was a dud.
That is why the before and after on the same saw is critical.
This one was well broken in, but not wore out yet. I would guess 30 ish tanks through.
2 different saws too. None are ever exactly the same.

I've always wondered about that graph, and just never could quite believe it. 6ish HP is a lot more believable.

You have a factory dud, throw some ignition timing at it.
I gave that 6.2x 572 about .025" along with the porting. It did ok but nothing super crazy.
Might have to do that.
