Hey Czar, I've got a couple of Alpina's to go through this winter. Maybe we can get together with Ross and do some test and tune time someday.

I’ve been watching evilbay for an Alpina 70 piston kit like forever.

Only one listed has $51 shipping from Italy. [emoji90]

Not willing to commit that much to postage.

I have one just like that but with lots of problems, also been watching ebay for parts

I have a large mount Stihl bar on my 120, it might require minor modifications. Seems like the tensioner hole needed to be enlarged.

Just remembered I had to add spacers on the bar studs for that Stihl bar to work.

Studs are 5/16”(ish) on my 70. An Oregon D276 (McCulloch, Poulan & Echo) fits fine.

A D196 (Homelite & Remington) works with spacers.

I decided to use the Alpina yesterday afternoon to clean up a cherry tree that fell on the fence.

Its a really sweet running saw.

BTW I’m looking for a air cleaner. (Prof 800)

Alpina Prof 70 runs and cuts.

Still some loose ends to connect up.

It has ‘S’ spacer on the bar studs to fit the Remington bar.

Needs an air filter cover.

Proper AV bushing on the top.

Stihl being used as a stand in.

Slug/sleeve is missing for the bottom of the handle.
