I've seen saws weigh in line with the published #s of 13.2 lbs for the 462 and 13.4 lbs for the 500i

The amount of power the 500i has over the 462, for those extra few ounces is literally addicting when you run them side by side, especially ported.

The only reason for me to keep my 462 is the fact that its an arctic version, otherwise I bring enough fuel with me and I could use the fuel up time to catch my breath ............... woodin is not easy on older, more feeble humans.

I'm going to be in trouble with the Mrs when I find a new arctic 500i

Hey Mike, do you half fill your saws when you run them? I fill mine right up to caps. Saws should have a standard weight guideline of full fluids with bar, as that is the work weight.

Variables I just want to know which saw has the lightest air filter?
I don't workouts or anything couldn't possibly pick a saw up off the kitchen table if the air filter is to heavys and stuffs.
