I don't recon you do.
I simply stated 500 is a good price.

I'm thinking the black "should work" but there may be a convenience thing against using it.....I have personally not used any of them options you pictured.Ok, will either of these work?

I have used the black and it works just fine.
I use Dirko that I buy from a stihl dealor but I've used black permatex many times.
Clean it up and put that joker together,
Have you got a ring compressor?
It's to install the piston in the cylinder but it's not necessary to have. I use my fingers or a pencil or little screwdriver

Some day you'll get old and chit don't work, like yer eyes, fingers, hands ect....tools help lots.I don't own a ring compressor but I've bn thinking about getting some.
I always use the plastic end of a stihl screwdriver.
You should have said so earlier and should watch the HL deal of the day. They had a real nice set for cheap cheap a couple Fridays back. I almost bought a set and have no need for them.I've been meaning to order one.

No torque wrenches if you can tighten a bolt to where it doesn't break off or loosen up lol. I wouldn't worry about a compression tester. Or a vacuum test kit if your shop can do it. Unless you're gonna do this to 10 or 15 sawswell if you see a good vacuum and/or compression testing... stuff... Testor? I would love to know about it. I have no clue what would be crap brands and which would be worth the expense.... will I be needing Torque wrenches for putting this thing back together?

If it happens, you can always get tools. All you need for this it a long t27, a pair of needle nose pliers, vise grips, a half a dozen various screwdrivers, and a bfhFair enough.
Although I would love to get further into this, so who knows
