Live Action

I have a kimber 1911 10mm, I know the glock is stupid reliable and all that but the grip angle on most of them is all wrong for my natural hold. I like the 1911 and my cz75 grip angle
Smart man.Funny, I grew up with a 1911 and still own several
Always thought the axis of the earth was the slide stop pin on a 1911
Then one day about a decade ago I replaced a stolen Glock 26 with Glock 19 cause I got an insurance check and one thing led to another and that’s what I started carrying routinely
Still love the feel of a slick 1911 but have almost childish faith in my Glock
And the best part is after I bought the 19 the troopers contacted me and told me my 26 was recovered
Win win

We're oiling the Glock with itBTW, what happened to the 32:1 conversation???
I sold my CZ because of the grip, too big.I have 3 OLD Kimber Compacts
From back before the troubles started
I shot a Colt Delta 10mm once
Man that cartridge is one wicked stopper
I have small hands and never liked the full size Glocks but found a pistolsmith in Texas who did grip reductions and reshaping and all that jazz
Made my Glock 19 feel like a slightly chubby 1911
Smaller grip than my Hi Powers as well (another pistol made in heaven)
CZ75 is another top tier classic
Kudos man...
We're oil the Glock with it

Liberal blood is the only thing from a liberal that would workYour supposed to use Liberal tears for that!
Finally got everything flopped over , the one that responded the best was a cheap POS old weed eater brand blower , run far better on it for some strange reason.
Haven't done a full pull cut with the Husqvarna 44 yet but it starts on 4th pull cold and runs smoothly.
Using Saber Amsoil

Didn't derail it , kept it aliveApologies for my role in derailing your thread
I am glad you got your oil situation sorted out
I used Saber for years and only switched to Yamalube in the last year
I wouldn't hesitate to switch back to Saber
It's great oil
We been busy SBD-BOB scored today, I scored #5 last weekApologies for my role in derailing your thread

Hey 3browns, do you know what is in Yamalube? Yamaha Yamalube 2R (data: #1 #2)
Cost: $9.92/liter
Under 69% group 2 oil (CAS 64742-54-7), 17% group 1 oil (CAS 64742-47-8)
For the high temperatures, rigorous demands and stresses of competition engines.
8.5 viscosity @100ºC, 55 @ 40ºC, Viscosity Index 128, .88 density, 174ºC flash point
rating: not tested (probably FC due to its group 1 + 2 oils)
Sounds like a dandy reason to meI absolutely do not know, nor do I understand, what is in Yamalube 2R that makes it work so well
I do know that it's a mineral and synthetic blend and apparently brings the positive attributes of both to the table
In all honesty, I use it because Mastermind told me to
Ben and others also think highly of it and collectively have decades of Yamalube 2R experience under their belts with nothing bad to say
It's not hard to find an oil on the oil war threads with many people singing its praises
It IS hard to find an oil with lots of people cheering for it and almost zero people finding fault with it
That seems to be the case with 2R
