Yep...but it clearly says FD. The other day I checked and it said FB. Can't have it both ways unless a certification is lagging. I commented... asking Stihl about 4 days ago.... crickets.

Hope that my answer would not be "the sum of all your fears"......since many BITOGers are a little bit on the OCD side regarding engine oils.....

Apparently it is hard to get along for some individuals if you point out that they are chasing ACEA, VW, MB, BMW JASO, ISO oil standards......instead of domestic API ones....

Then debate comes down to this picture (it sums up why we have better oils)....

And then comes along aaaaaand its gone.....its all gone!

That is putting it very, very mildly. Their level of OCD does not allow them to tolerate differing opinions. Granted, there are people there who do know an awful lot about oil, but I can think of a few outspoken characters who know less than they think they do.

I do appreciate the UOAs that people post and there are some folks who seem quite well educated and informed. But it's important to remember that the entire BITOG forum is kind of like one giant "Which 2-stroke oil is best?" thread--derailments are inevitable.

Was involved in some bickering with their mod afterwards....and the rest is the history....

He was fair enough.....not holding any grudge

I got this question wrong that was a nervous person
He didn't know what to answer, so he answered as best he could.
But there's very little going on there so I didn't even care about it Thanks to this, I came here and to the Swedes

He seems to be very informative as ex oil industry engine oil formulator....was active alot....and then he was suddenly gone.....

Just going off past experiences from here, he likely said something negative about red armor and everyone went apesh!t

Red armor is a a decent oil, but there are alot of decent oils out there.

That's the beauty of message boards. When i was young, if I wanted to argue with a stranger about something neither of us understood, I had to go to a bar. Now, I can argue about chainsaws, guns, motorcycles or bbq from the comfort of my recliner. It's cheaper, and I don't get punched!

Yes.....MolaKule....TomNJ.....SonofJoe.......and maybe 2-3 users more......usually they work in an oil industry directly....or are some Lab "rats" so they know what they are talking about....
