watched a video with old man walker from walkers saw shop He said leaving the gullet helps clear the chip out the back of the tooth. He didn’t say it was faster. He said the chain would cut straighter in longer cuts. Voodoo

Looks to me like maybe a semi chisel tooth made into full chisel tooth? Took the side plate down to flat.

Never seen one like it, shaped like it was round converted to square but looks untouched. Really wanna see the other side

New never been sharpened or chromed ? Maybe grinding outside side plate would also aid in getting a nice sharp corner when sharpened ? Or likely just more voodoo

If'n your willing to go through all this trouble why not just make your own 3/8lp or .325 high tooth narrow kerf cutter?
