Emissions and laziness etc in ca puts a lot of clean bodies in wrecking yards.

I have a pretty nice blue cab for my ‘95 for someday.

Don't know that I ever posted mine in here. I sold it back in March. It was a 1997 2500 4WD with a 12 valve and an automatic. Had an exhaust brake and some heavy duty transmission stuff. Had if I remember right, it had 320k miles on it.

It was a pretty nice truck, but it had some ugliness that doesn't show in pictures. It was an older repaint that was starting to show some age. I had fun with it, but I was able to use the funds to pay off my F150 and buy another project car.

It was a California truck that was very rust free compared to what we usually see here in PA. It had a couple bubbles, but nothing serious. The interior was trashed when I got it. I replaced the dash and steering wheel with good used ones, redid the headliner, replaced the cushions on the driver's seat and extracted the other seats, and pressure washed the carpet.

Thanks, Loony661, it was flooded during hurricane Ike, some guy bought a few of 'em up near Cincinnati and I bought it for 2500 clams.
12 maybe13 some odd years ago, it's been a good one.

Yes, they are a lot tougher than the 360. I’d take a 318 any day.

That looks very nice. My 99 has the infamous clear coat peeling issue.. sooner or later I’ll have it painted. Sometimes I want to do a single color, and other times I want to do a 2-tone with the second color placed in the middle of the body, not just the bottom.
