Like what jj said just give it a light sanding it's a chrome cylinder so don't want to get crazy with it.

Get rid of the bosch plug if it’s a made in china one. There no good as far as I’m concerned. The one on our 390xp failed fairly quickly and the electrode almost fell off into the cylinder. Ngk or champion only for me now. Not worth the risk.

They have proven to me that there the number one plug for small engine use and the price for them not to bad.

Price has nothing to do with it , for the price of a plug there is no excuse even if you change them 4 times a year it is a pittance ......

I have way to much going on the worry about saws! Im glad my career doesn’t involve them. I do try to get an occasional load of fire wood when time allows though.
