Oil line actually went in relatively easy. Having the line already on the barb before installing the pump is the way to go. I didn’t have the water hot enough, so just used a little help from a heat gun.
Pushed the outlet end of the oil line into the hole cut in the bar pad. Once that was in place I just held the pump and bent the oil line into the recessed portion in the case. At the same time, I slipped the pump over the crankshaft and into place. Secured it and tapped in the brass bushing
Didn’t even need the pliers I fabricated and only took a couple minutes.
