Oil line actually went in relatively easy. Having the line already on the barb before installing the pump is the way to go. I didn’t have the water hot enough, so just used a little help from a heat gun.
Pushed the outlet end of the oil line into the hole cut in the bar pad. Once that was in place I just held the pump and bent the oil line into the recessed portion in the case. At the same time, I slipped the pump over the crankshaft and into place. Secured it and tapped in the brass bushing
Didn’t even need the pliers I fabricated and only took a couple minutes.

Waiting on a few more components so it’s going sit as is for a little while. Need a flywheel and a couple other smalls. Also going to order some new plastics that are the lighter shade of orange.

Very nice as usual Kyle.

I will add that I’ve used nuts inside the muffler on over 2 dozens 1122’s. I’ve never heard of one coming loose yet. Though a little insurance (weld) certainly can’t hurt.
