That's what my 066 is for.I prefer a 7, I like a saw you can lean on and is harder to pinch.
Couldn't you just use the Jonsered flippy caps from a 2260? They're already black.Should work well, I have even been dying flippy caps from husky for my Dolmar, they come out 2 toned for some reason
Well that depends entirely on the saw
Yep, lot of variables.And the wood, and your cutting style. It is real easy to jam up a saw when you are doing that diagonal cut for the face in real hard wood.
And a saw that keeps pulling when a large cut starts to pinch is priceless IMO.
