That looks awesome!@cgraham1 you have a good looking 036.
You tell me... I have a 20" ES, a 24" Sugi, a 28" ES light... Probably the 20".What bar and chain will you run on it?
Wood is rock hard here so we run big saws with short bars.I am currently running a 16" Rollomatic E on my 036. I cut all hardwood and like a high CC to bar length ratio. It will handle a 20" very well, though. Mine is bone stock. I think a ported one would be a blast with a 20".
Jason, did you open up the muffler, or leave it stock?
Well... How's it run?I got a 18" 3/8 on it and a pretty mean chain.

28" is a long bar here
It's new and tight but is still strong and revvy. I got some oak to noodle up with it then I'll take it to the woods this evening.Well... How's it run?

Plus the end product of a 70cc saw that thinks it is 90cc...
Lol I know what you mean, I have an 18es 325 .063 on my ported 361. Oh yea a 325 9 pin pulling it. It is a blastttI am currently running a 16" Rollomatic E on my 036. I've never owned a case splitter, never even used one.
Heat it up and smack the end of the crank with a plastic hammer and it falls apart.
Same with putting it together, if you can't put it together with your hands it's not hot enough
