Yeah I drove a 2016 F-150 for a few days. What a pile of crap. I wouldn’t give 6,500 for a new f-150.

holy moly! my 2002 7.3/ZF-6 F-250 XLT crewcab was only $34,200 brand new off the lot. Yours must’ve been covered in platinum or something?!!
mine was F350 xlt 4x4 7.3 with every option available at the time

The new Chev-Yota half ton crew cabs are in the $55-62k range.
You can even get an optional push button closing tailgate, for the guys who's hands are full with their purse.

I just cant get past how they look as of now. Im sure the fact that I see them every day at work, they will become "normal".

I could see this if it was open on a one ton with a fifth wheel hitch being really handy.

Yeah, but its on the Denali's and Chev Ltz's. They also some with 4 tire sensors in the glove box you can have installed in you trailer tires, and can be seen on the cluster. Thats kinda cool, but the guys who actually use their trucks as trucks (HD , 3/4, 1 ton)wont probably be offered crap like that. Have to pander to the mocha frappa whatever drinking soccer moms first.

In your area, but in central Wisconsin? No way.
For every Diesel I see actually working, I see 15 doing nothing more than toting groceries!
Just last week I had one in, customer said there was a DEF warning message on....Yeah, "Exhaust fluid empty, refill now"...
I asked the service writer if I needed to hold the guys hand and show him what a diesel pump looks like. It's always an adventure when temps hit negative digits for days or weeks too..

As far as the tire sensors and such, my point is the guys who make the decisions (at GM, Ford, Dodge) are so far out of touch with actual working men, the stuff guys who work their truck could actually use only makes it to the half tons.

I was bored the other night, so I cut the hideous looking, almost 8” tall, airdam down to about 3” ... looks so much better now. Can’t take it all the way off, because the bottom of the bumper looks pretty bad (bolts, holes, and wiring hanging down).4F98CA8B-0834-4861-99CC-50DA8E2DF2A7.jpeg

I gave up on gettin good mileage... especially since I also have read that the EGR and DPF can clog if you don’t drive it hard enough, so.. yeah, gonna drive it like I want to, and not worry about mileage. :)

More importantly put a good air box and if not that at least a good K&N or comparable.
Gonna get an AM intake at some point, and who knows what else... I really don’t want to void the warranty for the time being, since I’m only at 20,000 miles.

Looks like a 6.2 liter gas unless they have trucks without power stroke badge. I see a white DRW at a dealer right before I left that almost made me make a Uturn
