Hi Donny
My 592 had the same issue when I went to pick the saw up as it was to be started for the first time on pre-delivery. It wouldn’t fire after half a dozen pulls. He took it into the workshop, came back out, said fuel hose was kinked! Didn’t show me though. Mine was one of, if not close to, the first saw started in nsw Au. Back in Feb/March. You are the first I’ve heard of since then mentioning this and putting it out there to others, an easy fix to a stupid mistake quite obviously, well surely, noticeable to the person whom fitted it. Only thing I’d like to really see done on the 592 is a decent sized read Bigger Air Filter. Luv this saw![]()
His name is Harry.
But..you officially changed it to Donny.
His street name could be Harry Donny Pecker.

Steve is the real deal.Mark great catch, there seems to be a pattern here.
I was staring at the butterfly for some time until I saw your cheat sheet pic#2, completely allowed since we are not in college!
And there it was, the periscope peaking at me.
@Bryan Newton is having some issues right out of the box with his saw.
@huskihl caught a few right out of the box.
My own 550 MK2 had an issue right out of the box before a drop of any fuel, caught by the great @Stump Shot.
I do believe that the very few exceptional builders here that care about their customers has its weight in gold!
Seems fairly accurateSearch engine came up with this result, hmm...
592 is about 20% faster than a 390. 585 is about 10% faster than a 390.How many are running g and liking the 585? How would you compare.it to a 390?
Thank u. And with the qeight factors of the 3, the 592 seems the best choice. I still have a 390 so probably keep it.I can't compare a 390 to a 585 because I've never ran a 585 . Seeing how Shaun tagged me I'll compare the 592 to the 390 . Both saws were ported . The anti vib and handling is much better on the 592xp . The 592 is stronger than the 390 , both saws were sent to Joe for a dyno run . I'm sure the 585xp is smooth like the 592xp seeing how they are built on the same chassis .
Thank u. So far what I'm thinking is the 585 is not seeming so popular, as to the 592 then.592 is about 20% faster than a 390. 585 is about 10% faster than a 390.
I don’t particularly care for the carb on the 585. They won’t 4 stroke below the limiter with no load, but will 4 stroke under a load if tuned too rich. Just kinda hinky

Yep.I found the 585 pretty hard to tune because of this and them wanting to cut so close to the rev limiter its hard to tell if it's rich or hitting the chip.

Yep.
In stock form or after porting? Or both?
