Holy Crap, your almost half my age and your bragging about how strong you are, you should be ashamed of yourself!

I'll bet good money you won't do what I can do when your my age.

UNREAL!

I wont live to see your age with the way i live and how i use my body on a daily basis...or someone is gonna kill me.

Your healthy for your age because you didnt bust your ass for 40 years in the elements...that in itself makes a HUGE difference...my dad was as strong as he ever was until 58..downhill FAST after that.

i know very well im workin in my prime..i also know its not gonna last forever..i hear it from the old heads all the time about how i better start usin my brain instead of my back..but im not cut out for a suit and tie , im way too politically incorrect and i have way too much testosterone to work with a bunch of flowers...id be fired in a week...maybe not even that long.

im gonna go out balls to the wall..i had a dream i was gonna be 46 when it happened..well see.

Don't have such a defeatist attitude Ryan, if you eat right and don't drink too too much, you can keep going a lot longer than that.

You have shared some of your Dad's bad habits that led to the early decline, the same as what happened to my 1st Father in Law, who was also a Tree guy.

Learn from their mistakes, and you will be just fine.

And I know it is tough to do when you work hard all week, but taking up an aerobic activity like hiking or biking (even if you can only do it one day a week) will also go a long way to keeping you healthy in the long run. Or just hang a heavy bag in the basement and give it a workout now & then. Even when I worked for the moving company (and that was hard work & long hours/day) I still found time to run and work out on the bag.

I can't tell you what you should do, but just find something that you like to do, so you keep doing it.

Best of Luck with it.

Whats yours daniel ?

I dont have one..maybe a 461 ?
I don't have one that qualifies? I really like my 044 but it's ported. My hybrid is over the cc limit. I have a 272xp but that's still in pieces. I guess I would say an 044 but I haven't ran many other 70cc saws.

2171 is my pick. Id really like to give a 461 a go, but they are a lot of $s upfront.

Your hybrid counts.

I just think the 461 bumps the torque up quite a bit for a small weight penalty..my opinion.

Sure are .. for most buyers between porting and a new oem 460 coil your in the 1400 range.

They arent fast like a 2171 but they sure are torquey.

what's held me up on them several times in the past is the fact that they cost more than a 390xp or 2188. Ive about got burned out on saws. Spent a lot and tried a slew, Im going to cut my numbers way down, like in half of what I currently have.

My 044, completely rebuilt and new recipe xb innards was $700US or around $1,100AU delivered. In Oz a new 461 from dealer is ~ $2,000AU which is about the same for a new ported 461 delivered from TN

Just couldn't justify a new 461 from anywhere, and, unless it's ported, I can't see any real benefit anyway

Sheeeeit... a "new recipe" is worth a grand all by itself.

I like 461s a lot, ran Jeremy's (with just a muff mod) at GTG, was a very torquee saw. But I've just had the luck of a few 460s coming my way, and after porting I think the differences start to evaporate, so I can't justify getting a 461. If I go out of my way to get anything else, it will either be bigger or smaller than what I have got. I have more than I need right now ... but I like em!

Some of you weight junkies are lucky you havent worked for the guys i have , if i told the guy i work for i think we should use a 440 instead of a 460 for this tree today because my arms cant take it he would probably make me walk home or punch me in the balls to make sure they are still in place ... these forums genuinely crack me up lol..you guys are a hoot lololol
Any pic's of the ball punching ?
Remind me not to pick a fight with you or your friend Cant ,you both look more fit than i do .
