What do you guys use for D handles on big saws? I found a couple and have broken all of them.
D handles for the ms460 and ms461 rescue saws are the best I've used. Definitive Dave usually has some. They're priced good too.

I get them from my local Stihl dealer under $5.00 ea. I buy them 10 @ the time. They are the best D-handle made IMO. PN: 1128 195 3401.

Well I didn't get much sleep last night in fact I only got two hours of sleep last night not sure why so didn't do much with the saw no port timing numbers today need more sleep for that. But I did the muffler mods to it and she woke up pretty good problem that I've had before with the carbs as usual is it's jetted to lean so going to have to take a reamer to the jet no biggie with that. Can't wait to pop the cylinder and do some port work on it the squish is around. . 029 . 031 going to have to work the squish band over a little bit and drop the jug a smidge going to set squish around. . 022 we shall see. Lol. And ignition timing is already advanced just like all of the clone ms660s that I've built so I'm thinking that it's built into the flywheel from the factory not sure if any one else has ever noticed this or not. So far, on my “Unicorn”, the unusables are:

Case
Coil
Starter
Piston
Cylinder
Covers
Muffler
Clutch surround/brake cover
Clutch Drum bearing
Sprocket
Airfilter
Tank
Fuel line
Oil pump

Just that so far. More to come as I dig deeper. With friends like him, who needs enemies.

You want to trade the 064 I've got in the trading post for some porting work possibly?

Are you needing anything you don’t have? I have a few parts I can dig through.

My nephew has been working at my house. He did some grade work is building a shed. He texted me one day and told me he had a problem with the 372 I sold him 4-5 years ago.

Seems he tried parking an excavator on it. I’ll get a pic of the carnage pile later. Looking through it I realized how nice this saw was. Metal caged bearing it had a 13.3 k rev limit which you can hear in the video

The jug had a weird booger in the main transfers on one side. So I cleaned it up. Evened out the ports pulled the gasket and tried my hand at tig brazing in a pipe.
