I have one of those collecting dust under my bench that has a nasty knock when pulling it over, but looks to be indecent shape otherwise if you want it.
I can send you pics of it.
Appreciate the offer! This is my father in laws. My bil was using a wedge to split a piece of wood, grazed it and it flew over and cracked this case. He’s fine with it as is. In fact, they both brag about how tough their Stihls are to take a blow like that and still be alive and cutting... “It hasn’t leaked in 20 years”
Last thing I want is my first case split to be a top handle Still!!

Well I put the degree wheel on it and have some port timing numbers for you guys if any of you are interested or not. Lol. Now there might be a little wiggle on the numbers for the transfers but should be close now just so everyone knows that these numbers are before any port work and I feel that this one won't take much to make it a very strong saw and it will be pulling a 32" bar's and chain for the most part. View attachment 147807 here are the numbers. EX-97- IN-82ish - transfers 122. So what do you all think. Oh and they've changed there carburetor but to bad the on off switch still sucks enough to you still have some problems with the high idle easy fix though.IMG_20181029_124337.jpg IMG_20181029_124324.jpg
