So, after I split and hauled out of the backyard, and loaded the trailer, and delivered a 1/2 cord of wood, I cut the grass, then got started on a new Asian 660. (4:30 pm till 8:45, with dinner brake). Got the case together w/o messing up a seal, installed a piston and checked #s, and opened up the gasket and muffler to match the exhaust port.
I have a Cross Cylinder that has been ported for it, and I gotta say I'm pleased with the #s. W/O base gasket, Sq is .025, Ex 100.5, Tr 120.5 and Intake 80.5. Almost perfect!
The only thing I was not crazy about is the intake port (on the outside) was off center and did not seem to have been matched to the boot, so I did that. The inside had been epoxied a bit to get it up to 80.5.
Tomorrow I'm working with my brother all day, so will not have any time to play more with this, maybe on Sat progress will resume!
