Looks like metal frame frome a tel exchange???Beginnings of my cant stand. Im stealing the idea of using scissor jacks from a car to hold the cant. Im going to wait till I get them before I decide on the rail spacing.View attachment 40084
Already done Randy that,s the one we talked about. You were spot on I had to take 0.68 off the band to get to 100* Ext
I don't know I haven't got to run it yet but it might.
Will do Randy thank you.I was just wondering if it's getting plenty of fuel. I tune those saws a lot fatter than most guys do........I feel like they need a lot of fuel to keep them cool.
That orange Stihl Vince. 009?
How's it run? I've got a couple of them.......but I've experienced issues with the reed plate under the carby.
Curious as I have one myself(011), what kind of issue did/does the reed plate have? Checked mine when I rebuilt the carburetor, did not notice anything unusual, not that I can recall anyways. So far it's been an OK saw for limbing and cutting up edgings, but that's far as I could make an endorsement for it. It has kind of an odd duck feel about it, when I'm using it. Not sure what it even is about it that makes me say that, so it's probably not that big an issue whatever it is.
The white ones have no issues........but the all orange ones tend to leak at the reed plate.
...and I have an Orange one too.Well there is always the next saw I guess.
