Dont know if I have posted this before, 550/560/562 xpg wiring.

This is where I did mistakes before, I let all 3 wires goes through the handle, same spot as where the carb heat wire comes from, but this is where the wires are put original.

I did let all 3 wire go through where the single wire from carb heat comes, and that was wrong. The way Husky have done it better then the way I did before, the black plastic in bottom protect the wires perfect

201 T questions: (parts are taking forever to come, but the clutch drum arrived)

1) The clutch drum came today, but there is a black piece of plastic in there with it, anyone know what it is for?

2) The air filter was so dirty I don't know how it ran, but does all the intake air go through that tiny hole? Does not look large enough to run anything.

Pics of the plastic piece? I had a drum come in that had a plastic piece in it to just keep the bearing in place during shipping.

Piston stop.

My gosh, thanks for that, I did not realize what it was! And, I was very frustrated that the only size rope I could fit in that small diameter spark plug hole was not stopping the piston!

Thanks much!!! I was gonna try and buy one!

A guy brought me an 025 and a MS250 today. Said the master control switch on the 250 wasn't working properly and it was a bear to start. I pulled the cover and the spade connector wire was laying on the metal carb linkage.
He said he would set the chain tension on the 025 and it would tighten itself up as he used the saw to the point it couldn't turn the chain any more. The spur sprocket was nearly cut in half from wear...

This spring i tore down a 455 that looked identical to yours and he was running stihl ultra stuck the ring.i ran ultra for many years and never had any trouble so it was probably his old gas or ratio he switched to red armor after trying my saws.

Ive had a 021 that ran orange bottle and the last several years ultra and it has carbon but not in the ring groove. I see Ultra cake the rings, exhaust, and plug the arrestor screen with carbon alot on trimmers and blowers that arent ran high rpm

id say you're right older fella couldn't remember how old the mix or last time he used it Saw looked new. People give the ranchers a hard time but my cousin has cut firewood for ten years or longer and I've never had to work on it says a lot to me.

Alota 455s in my area. When folks ask me to recommend a saw for firewood I tell them to go get the 2155 J-Red @ TSC on sale for around 350. Dont see how they can go wrong for the $$$
