Today I was again working on the pump diaphragm for my Reed-Prentice 1200B (Craftsman) chainsaw. This was a funky one to draw in Fusion since it is kind of a wonky shape. I started over tonight and kind of ball parked everything and took six adjustments in the drawing to get everything lined up. I even got to try out cutting diaphragm material on the Cricut (provided by
@heimannm when I visited him at his museum).

First pass the gasket material and the diaphragm material cut great, however I screwed up and used my gasket template to cut the diaphragm...hence turning it into a really thin gasket

Mocking it up to see what it will look like when it is all glued together. I will have to pop out the rivet on the original diaphragm and reuse the metal pieces (there are two, one on each side - the one on the other side has the tab and slit that the needle lever goes through). I need to figure out a way to make a die so that I can press new ones.

This was the second to the last gasket I needed to make for this saw, there are eight total. The last one will be for the crank case that houses the engine oil for the main gear, it is the largest of the gaskets and should be a fun challenge!
