What I meant was that if the saw works on old rubber and a new one is not available, it must remain on it until the end 😉👍

Of course, an undamaged boot lives longer than I let them do.
When I renovate 346 and 357, I replace the part wall, boot, impulse and flange, and I take the assembly on the cylinder part by part, I have very good control that the nipple comes on damaged then.

On 3xx, the boot is the weakest part.

It actually starts better with this black button, even though the string is short. However, the seal needs to be replaced - there is one on the flywheel side. I'm looking for instructions on how to adjust a Walbro WZ carburetor, there are two adjustment screws on the carburetor needle. I also added an air filter, the equipment is probably 30 years old Efco 220

This might help. It gives instructions for adjustment at idle and WOT.

At least I saw what the air filter looked like 😉This is how the H screw is signed
