My body hurts just from looking at that picture. That's a real MAN saw.

With a little coaxing and the right attitude, it will more or less run, even idle briefly. No oiler yet.

It works, but the connecting rod at the bottom is quite loud / has a lot of play / I haven't seen such a failure in a Kawasaki

Boredom set in at work yesterday so I decided to build a saw vice outta what we had laying around. Awesome I didn't have to buy one an even got paid to build it

The Chinese filter fell apart and clogged the filter in the carburetor / I fixed it with a red cable before something better arrived and at the same time I replaced the poor primer

First go at porting is off the bench. Before it was turning 11k in 16 inch hardwood with the same 24" bar with full chisel .050 rakers. Now it's turning over 12k in 22 inch mystery pine. Was afraid to do a max rpm.
Throttle response didn’t improve but I didnt fiddle with idle speed and low jet much.

Technically, it can probably be milled to fit a partner, but it will take a little extra work to adapt the rest of the parts.
