Good to know. I have 3 of these out now, 2 with tree services. I’ll contact and see how they are doing. Here’s that WCS muffler after half a tank of fuel including an initial tuning session after porting.
I’m gonna seal the 2 halves with some ultra copper.
Hopefully that’s all it needs to eliminate the “splooge “View attachment 444913View attachment 444914

what kind of oil are you using? that seems like too much splooge to meHere’s that WCS muffler after half a tank of fuel including an initial tuning session after porting.

Amsoil saber. 32:1. A lot of the splooge I believe is from the initial tuning session. I start out tuned really fat just to get them running. I then make a few cuts to get the saw hot and then start leaning it out and making more cuts until I’m happy.what kind of oil are you using? that seems like too much splooge to me

intake leaks at the seem closest to the cylinder, that would have been fun to "tune out" of the saw!
