yes i have. the guy brought it to me saying the chain keeps coming off no matter how tight it was. that is exactly what i found. it was way worse than that i dont know how it even stayed on to be able to run itEver seen a clutch drum this worn..?

Damn nice work.Half of the top step on my drill press pulley has been broke off since i bought it years ago and the pulley for this 1980's unit is proprietary and unobtanium so decided to just attempt fixing it. This cast was a pain in the azz to weld. Its like welding dirt. It ain't pretty but should work

Own idea i guess? Not sure what you mean. Just cleaned up the to be welded surfaces, preheated, fired up the welder with some 4043 and went to town.Nice repair. Your own Idea or did ya get some pointers?
